Bathroom Bowl

I keep a bowl in the bathroom by the sink. It's not for anything in particular, it just comes in handy.

Soaking something without having to clog up the entire sink for a while. Pouring out water, such as to rinse down the sides of the sink where the faucet doesn't reach. Temporarily putting down objects like wet soap bars or soggy towels without worrying that they'll make a mess. Anything where you need a medium amount of water but don't want to deal with the turbulence of a running faucet.

If you already have a cup in the bathroom for brushing your teeth that will work as well, but a bowl is more ergonomic for most tasks and I'd rather keep anything going in my mouth separate regardless.

Nightly Notes

I keep hedging about how long I think this will keep up, but I think this is the first time I've fully resigned myself to the idea that I guess I do this forever now.

That's the plan.

There's no details beyond that.

I don't know when was the last time I fully believed I would do something so routine into the indeterminate future. Of the half-dozen things I've believed that about, only one or two are still going, and only for a few years. I could not fathom dropping either.

Didn't write all that much this month, but it's still more than I thought I would. Lifetime total at 90k now, and I'm certainly writing faster and more consistently than I used to.
