Perpetual Rewiring

Filler Sorting

I used to play a variety of mindless mobile games when I was feeling fidgety but didn't have anything to do. It's less mentally demanding than scrolling. These days, I sort things on my phone. Usually starts with email, then clearing downloads, categorizing old photos if I'm feeling particularly ambitious.

Occasionally something weird gets thrown into the mix, like relabeling a batch of ebooks. It's mindless work since I already have the categories setup, it's easy to pickup and drop at any time, and there's always something to do but it's never urgent.

Also, everything stays organized without having spend hours on end doing tedious sorting. Less fun than mobile games I will admit, but it fills the same hole.
