When there is too much to do, write down the reasonable minimum time each thing would take and add it all up.
Check that it's even possible to cram it all in before you start destroying the schedule to make room.
Real minimums, not fake. Assume corners will be cut as you feel appropriate. I always find myself pretending that I'm still doing everything normally instead of switching over to the raw focus minimum viable expectations.
Stop that. The damage has already started.
if you're trying to fix six hours of work into a three hour timeslot, you need to get it together.
Something is going to drop.
Better to pick now than find out what circumstance will pick for you.
