Wipe Down the Sink

When you finish the dishes, wipe down the entire sink with a tiny bit of soap. Don't just spray it with a bit of water, there has to be something in direct contact with the surface. Even if it looks clean, there's little bits of gunk building up.

If you don't believe me, try running your hand over it before and after. It'll be noticeably smoother after a clean.

Alternatively, lick it.

I'm serious, your utensils and dishes are touching that sink. If you aren't comfortable licking it when it's "clean", it's not clean enough.

Remember to get around the rim of drain and the surface by the faucet, as well as any edges. It doesn't need to be the most thorough clean, as long as you touch every spot you're good.

A couple seconds goes a long way.

Nightly Notes

Not in a writing mood today. It's not painful to write though, which is an improvement from a few months ago.
